1. Service Description

OremAI is a digital reputation protection platform operated by Keovation Solutions (Pty) Ltd. The platform provides the following services:

  • Digital footprint scanning: Automated scanning of publicly accessible online sources, data broker databases, and web platforms to identify where your personally identifiable information (PII) is exposed.
  • Exposure scoring: A proprietary risk assessment algorithm that calculates your digital exposure level based on the type, severity, and breadth of data found.
  • Data removal: Submission of removal requests to data brokers and third-party platforms on your behalf, with tracking and follow-up until removal is confirmed or escalated.
  • Monitoring: Ongoing surveillance for re-listing of your data after successful removal (available on paid plans).

2. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use OremAI.
  • Each individual may hold only one OremAI account. Multiple accounts for the same person are not permitted.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@oremai.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscription and Billing

OremAI offers a free initial scan and multiple paid subscription tiers with varying levels of protection:

  • Free scan: A single complimentary digital footprint scan with a summary exposure score. No payment required.
  • Paid plans: Monthly or annual subscription tiers providing ongoing scanning, removal services, and monitoring. Plan details and pricing are displayed on our Pricing page.
  • Payment method: Payment is processed via offline invoice. Upon completing the order form, you will receive a professional tax invoice via email within 24 hours. Payment is accepted via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or direct bank deposit into our South African business account.
  • Activation: Your subscription is activated upon confirmation of payment (typically within 1-2 business days of receipt).
  • Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive a renewal invoice at least 7 days before the renewal date.
  • VAT: All prices are inclusive of 15% South African VAT where applicable. VAT invoices are issued for all transactions.

4. Acceptable Use

When using OremAI, you agree to the following:

  • You may only scan and request removal of your own personal data, or data belonging to a person who has provided you with explicit written consent.
  • You may not use the platform to impersonate another person or scan for data belonging to third parties without their consent.
  • You may not use OremAI for any unlawful purpose, including stalking, harassment, or identity theft.
  • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of OremAI or its algorithms.
  • You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with OremAI beyond its intended interface.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute OremAI services without prior written agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Platform ownership: The OremAI platform, including its design, code, algorithms, brand assets, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Keovation Solutions (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African and international copyright and intellectual property law.
  • User data ownership: You retain full ownership of your personal data at all times. By using OremAI, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering our services.
  • Feedback: If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback regarding the platform, we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

6. Limitation of Liability

OremAI provides its services on a best-effort basis. While we strive to ensure accurate scanning and effective removal, please note the following:

  • We cannot guarantee the complete removal of all personal data from all online sources. Some data brokers and platforms may refuse or delay removal requests.
  • Scan results are based on publicly accessible information at the time of scanning and may not reflect the complete extent of your digital exposure.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, OremAI.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for OremAI services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites and data brokers.

7. Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your subscription and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at legal@oremai.co.za. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the platform in a manner that harms other users or the integrity of the service.
  • Data deletion: Upon account termination, all your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by South African law.
  • Refunds: No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. If we terminate your account due to a breach, no refund will be provided.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of OremAI after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
